Types of Korean Visas for American Nationals and Permanent Residents of Korea
- Korean Tourist Visa for American nationals and permanent residents in Korea is issued for a short period of leisure travel to or visiting friends and family in Korea and no business activities permitted.
- Korean Business Visa for American citizens and permanent residents in Korea is issued for participating in short term business activity in Korea.
- Korean Transit Visa for American nationals and permanent residents in United States is issued is generally valid for 3 days or less, for transferring through a port in Korea to a third destination.
